The Seminole Tribe of Florida has just made a significant leap in the gaming industry as they introduced craps, roulette, and sports betting at their facilities in the state. The launch event, which was called a “New Era” in Florida Gaming, was attended by tribe leaders and a myriad of celebrities.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood are now offering games and sports betting. A grand opening was held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, where tribe leaders and celebrities like Jon Bon Jovi, Bruno Mars, Tiësto, and others were present. These celebrities had the opportunity to place bets on their favorite games and take part in the new offerings.
Other events are set to take place at the Hollywood casino to celebrate the introduction of the new games, including a one-time pop-up dining experience at the Carbone restaurant. This restaurant, created by renowned chef Mario Carbone, is famous for its blend of Italian and American culture.
In addition to the Hollywood casino, similar events were held at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood. The signing of a Gaming Compact in 2021 has allowed customers to have access to a wide range of offerings, including blackjack, baccarat, various card games, and modern slot machines.
Marcellus Osceola Jr., Chairman of the tribe, expressed his pride in the Seminole Tribe’s new casino games, stating that with the addition of craps, roulette, and sports betting, they now offer a full complement of casino games on par with leading casinos around the world. Jim Allen, the CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of the Hard Rock International, emphasized the positive economic impact that the new casino games will have on the entertainment, travel, and tourism industries.
The expansion of gaming offerings in the state is expected to increase tourism to Florida and boost employment not only at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood but also at businesses in the areas surrounding the casino complex and others operated by Seminole Gaming throughout Florida.
