MoneyGram joins forces with Play’n GO and Haas F1 Team

The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix is set to kick off on Sunday, November 19, 2023, and the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is gearing up for the race by entering into a partnership with leading game development company Play’n GO. This collaboration, announced on November 16, is expected to give both teams a significant competitive advantage in the 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

As part of the agreement, the Play’n GO logo will be featured on the side of the MoneyGram Haas VF-23 car and the team apparel throughout the 2023 season. Additionally, the logo will adorn the race suits of F1 drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg in the 2024 Formula 1 season. Notably, this partnership marks the first main sponsorship of a Formula 1 team coming from Sweden in quite some time.

The partnership also aims to expand Play’n GO’s reach into the highly regulated world of Formula 1. As a globally recognized content supplier to the casino industry, Play’n GO seeks to grow its player pool, which currently stands at half a million, by venturing into the world of Formula 1. The company sees this expansion as a significant milestone, especially after recording more than a quarter of a billion rounds played on its platform just days prior.

Commenting on the partnership, Johan Törnqvist, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Play’n GO, expressed his excitement about introducing their games to a new global audience and contributing to the journey of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, both on and off the track. Guenther Steiner, Team Principal of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, also conveyed his delight about collaborating with Play’n GO, highlighting their shared values of progress, integrity, innovation, and entertainment in both the gaming and Formula 1 industries.

In the lead-up to the Grand Prix, the Formula 1 teams will partake in a cruise through the vibrant Las Vegas Strip from November 16 to 18, 2023. The collaboration between MoneyGram Haas F1 Team and Play’n GO is expected to bring excitement to both new and existing fans of Formula 1, domestically and internationally.
