EveryMatrix, software, solutions, content, and service provider to casino, sports betting, and associated operators, has announced the appointment of Bobby Longhurst as their Group Chief Commercial Officer (GCCO). Longhurst’s appointment comes as the company prepares for this year’s International Casino Exhibition (ICE).
In his new role as GCCO, Longhurst will oversee the company’s corporate commercial strategy, including account management, sales, and marketing, as well as work with other business divisions to enhance the viability of the company’s global operations. This is a significant responsibility, considering EveryMatrix’s 850 employees spread across 12 countries and their service to more than 300 customers worldwide.
Longhurst brings with him over 20 years of industry knowledge and experience, having previously held positions such as Managing Director at SportingTech, CCO at Pronet Gaming, and Commercial Director at SBTech. With his expertise in strategic insight, executive leadership, and focus on revenue growth, team management, process improvements, and new business developments, Longhurst is well-equipped to lead EveryMatrix’s marketing and sales operations.
Longhurst will be taking over the GCCO position from Stian Hornsletten, co-founder of EveryMatrix, who will be transitioning to the role of CEO of the company’s Games division on February 1, 2024. Partners and customers will have the opportunity to meet the new executives at the ICE 2024 event in London from February 6 to 8, 2024.
Commenting on the appointment, EveryMatrix Group CEO, Ebbe Groes, expressed the company’s commitment to seeking the best talent in the industry to support their accelerated growth plans. He welcomed Longhurst, noting his extensive commercial, product, and strategic experience, which will contribute to the expansion of EveryMatrix’s reach across new and existing markets and technologies.
In response, Bobby Longhurst expressed his enthusiasm for joining EveryMatrix during this stage of growth, highlighting the significant opportunities in their major business units and products across established and new markets. He looks forward to leading EveryMatrix’s commercial strategy with exciting projects in the pipeline.
EveryMatrix’s decision to appoint Longhurst as their GCCO demonstrates their commitment to driving growth and excellence in the industry. This move is expected to further solidify the company’s position as a leading provider of software, solutions, and services to the global casino and sports betting sectors.
